Day 1 - Sunday, May 15, 2022
"Cead Mile Failte", a hundred thousand welcomes! After clearing passport control, please claim your luggage to complete the arrival formalities. You will then exit through the Arrival Hall, where you are greeted by your Travel Director. Start your day by visiting the old fortress on the Rock of Cashel. This limestone rock, crowned with secular and religious buildings, dominates the countryside. St. Patrick, Ireland’s patron saint, baptized King Aengus here in the 5th century. Then, Travel on to Kinsale, famed for it’s beautiful yachting, sea angling and gourmet restaurants. (B)

Today you are taken on a tour of the Dingle Peninsula, thrusting out into the Atlantic it claims Ireland’s most westerly point. This morning visit the picturesque village of Adare, which is billed as the prettiest village in Ireland with its thatched roof cottages and Tudor style houses. Afterwards, Visit the Bunratty Castle and Folk Park. Walk through the streets of the Folk Park, recreating everyday life as it was in rural Ireland some 100 years ago. It contains houses, a pub, fully operational blacksmith’s forge, a printers shop and a draper’s. Travel to Dromoland Castle where you will be staying for 2 nights.

Named a UNESCO Global Geopark, the Cliffs are best experienced on a walk or trek across the clifftop. Watch birds, study plants, and keep an eye on the water for breaks of dolphin pods or sharks. Come to know the myths and magic of the Cliffs of Moher with sights including the Tower viewpoint, the Aran Islands, and the
Hags Head. Then, Travel to the Burren, an Irish word "Boíreann" meaning a rocky place. The rough, intriguing and attractive landscape was formed 320 million years ago. Enjoy dinner in the Earl of Thomond Restaurant this evening. (B,D)

Traverse the recently restored SS Nomadic, one of the Titanic’s service boats, see artefacts from the ship itself, walk the decks, explore the shipyard, and comb through film director James Cameron’s redeveloped galleries of the ship’s launch day and maiden, ill-fated voyage in the city where it all began.
